Eucalyptus Jarrah Blossom with Blue banded bee
from $65.00

Native Botanical Vase – Jarrah Blossoms with Blue Banded Bee

These handcrafted porcelain vases honour two beloved icons of Western Australia: the Jarrah eucalyptus and the Blue Banded Bee. Each vase is carved by hand, capturing the fine details of Jarrah buds and blossoms and bee. Colour is carefully inlaid to highlight the bee’s blue bands and the gentle tones of the flowers, bringing movement and life to the crisp porcelain surface.

Blue Banded Bees are important native pollinators found throughout WA. Their bright turquoise stripes and fast, darting flight make them a favourite in local gardens, and their buzz-pollination helps many native plants thrive. These vases celebrate this small but essential creature and the flora it supports.

The interior has a clear glaze, while the exterior remains unglazed so the carvings stay tactile and expressive. These pieces sit beautifully on their own, grouped together, or filled with seasonal stems, native foliage, or small handpicked posies.
