Featherscape Collection

The Featherscape Collection is inspired by the striking beauty and vulnerability of Western Australia’s black cockatoos — including Carnaby’s, Baudin’s, and the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. Through porcelain and stoneware clay, I use sgraffito carving layered with coloured underglazes to capture the movement, texture, and character of these remarkable birds, from the rich dark plumage and vivid tail feathers to the intricate markings unique to each species.

The collection includes functional serving platters, bowls, vases, wall pieces, and larger sculptural works that celebrate both the birds themselves and the native habitats they depend upon. Many surfaces are combined with botanical impressions inspired by Marri, Banksia, Hakea, and Eucalyptus, reflecting the deep connection between species and landscape.

Each piece is individually handmade and carved in my Perth Hills studio, carrying subtle engraved references to the species that inspired the work — a quiet reminder of the beauty, fragility, and resilience of these iconic birds.

Homewares Collection

The Homewares Collection features wheel thrown porcelain vessels created as both functional pieces and statement ceramic artworks. Crafted from Australian Southern Ice and Superior White porcelain clays, each piece is individually thrown and hand carved, celebrating the intricate beauty of native Australian flora and fauna.

Many works combine carving with coloured glaze inlay and tactile textures inspired by banksia pods, eucalyptus, gum nuts, wildflowers, and pollinators. Some feature detailed sgraffito carving — scratching back through layers of coloured underglaze to reveal the clay beneath — creating contrast, texture, and depth within the surface designs.

The interiors are finished with a functional clear liner glaze, while the exteriors remain unglazed and carefully sanded to a smooth tactile finish that highlights the natural qualities of the porcelain and carved surfaces.

Designed to be both functional and artistic, these porcelain works are made to bring texture, warmth, and a connection to nature into the home.

Tableware Collection

Celebrate in style with friends and family, or savour a quiet moment alone, with handcrafted porcelain tableware inspired by Australia’s unique flora and fauna. Created in my Perth Hills studio in Wattle Grove, Western Australia, each piece reflects a deep connection to nature, texture, and place.

Crafted from fine Australian Southern Ice porcelain clay, the collection includes slab built plates, platters, and bowls alongside wheel thrown mugs and vessels. Most feature imprinted native botanicals including banksia, eucalyptus, grevillea, wattle, and seed pods, while selected works also include carved blue wrens and bees.

Layered textures and coloured glaze inlay enhance the designs within the clay while maintaining functionality and durability. Each piece is individually formed and finished by hand, sealed with a food-safe clear glaze, and designed for both everyday use and special occasions. Dishwasher and microwave safe, these works balance practicality with artistry through tactile surfaces, organic forms, and uniquely Australian botanical storytelling.

Bespoke Collection

The Bespoke Collection features one-of-a-kind statement pieces crafted from Australian Southern Ice porcelain clay. Each form is individually wheel thrown and slowly developed through layers of carving, texture, and surface detail inspired by native Australian flora and fauna.

Many works feature intricate sgraffito carving and coloured glaze inlay that wrap around the entire form, revealing new details from every angle. Selected feature pieces also incorporate black cockatoos and native seed pods layered into the surface designs and background textures, creating depth, movement, and a strong connection to the Australian environment.

Created over many weeks and often months, each piece is entirely unique, balancing sculptural presence with fine craftsmanship and tactile detail.

These highly decorative porcelain works are designed as collectible ceramic artworks that celebrate the beauty, fragility, and intricacy of the natural world.
