Mini Clay Creatures Workshop
Reconnecting Open Studio | Pulse Art Studio
Date: Friday 28 March
Time: 12:15–1:00 pm
Cost: $10 per person
Location: Pulse Art Studio- 52 Kent Street, Spearwood, WA.
This relaxed mini clay workshop is suitable for all ages and focuses on creating a small pinch pot plate, bowl, or mug form. Participants will learn simple pinch and handbuilding techniques using hands, basic tools, and natural collected textures.
Optional additions include small handles for mugs or a lid for a bowl, depending on time and interest. This session is ideal for first-time makers as well as those wanting a short, creative clay experience.
Please note this workshop is held off-site as part of an open studio event. Items will not be fired unless a firing service is arranged.
Optional firing add-on:
Approx $5 per item, includes firing and a green copper wash glaze
Payable on the day
Unfired pieces may be taken home to air dry. Air-dried work will be fragile and not waterproof, but can be sealed or painted at home. Items will not be food or water safe unless professionally fired.
Reconnecting Open Studio in on from 10am-4pm with several other creative experiences on the day, a small market style community space at my fathers family home in Spearwood.
