POTTERY WORKSHOP - Pinch & Coil Mugs, Bowl or Vase [Sunday, 7th June]
Pinch & Coil- Mugs, Vase or Bowl
Slow Down, Get Creative, and Make Something Beautiful
Join me for a calming, hands-on pottery session where you’ll create your own pinch & coiled set of mugs, a vase, bowl or even a planter- perfect for brightening up your space or gifting to someone special. No clay experience needed; this workshop is designed for total beginners and those looking to reconnect with their creativity.
You’ll learn traditional hand-building techniques, starting with a pinch pot base and slowly building up your form with coiled clay. Whether you prefer a larger statement piece or a smaller bowl or mug with a matching plate, this project is all about personal expression and mindful making.
Add drainage holes for plants, keep it solid for a functional bowl or add a handle for a mug! You’ll have the option to smooth the surface or leave visible finger marks, add textures, or decorate with coloured underglazes.
What’s Included:
Step-by-step guidance from Danica to build your custom shape
All clay, tools, and non-toxic materials provided
Complimentary tea, coffee, and a baked treat on arrival
15% off items in the Rediscover Ceramics studio shop
Optional coloured underglaze decoration on the day
Danica will glaze and fire your piece
Finished work will be ready for pick-up in approx. 4 weeks
