This unique vase features the striking Red-tailed Black Cockatoos, celebrating my love of nature and inspired by Australia’s native flora and fauna. Crafted on the potter's wheel from Southern Ice porcelain clay, this piece is exceptionally strong and durable. The inside of the vase is finished with a clear glaze, while the exterior is selectively glazed in the carved sections and sanded to a soft finish. The top is painted with black underglaze and intricately sgraffito carved. The vase showcases a male and female cockatoo perched on a vibrant red flowering ficifolia branch. The design wraps around the entire vase, allowing for a different perspective from every angle. This stunning piece serves as a statement work for any home or office. It can be enjoyed as a standalone art piece or used for fresh cut or dried flower arrangements.

Measuring 18 cm tall and 10.5 cm wide, top opening 7.5cm. Perfect for a medium bunch of flowers (stems cut down).
