On the day Danica will take you through the making process of hand building a mug and side plate (and if time permits a spoon), using stoneware clay. Alternatively, make a set of two tumbler mugs.

You will be able to decorate and personalize your creations as you wish. Add a splash of coloured underglazes at the end, or let Danica glaze it with a green copper wash.

Behind the scenes your creations will be fired and clear glazed to make them safe to use, and ready to pick up in about 4 weeks, perfect for your favourite cup of tea or coffee. The final product will be dishwasher and microwave safe.

No prior knowledge required, and project will be adjusted for different skill sets and goals.

Pottery Hand-building Workshop

A relaxed, hands-on Mug making workshop
During this workshop, you'll learn the process of creating your own mug and side plate using stoneware clay. If time allows, you may also make a matching spoon. Alternatively, you can opt to craft a set of two tumbler mugs.

You can even choose to have your creations finished with a beautiful green copper wash glaze.
