Mini Clay Workshops [Sunday 16 September]- For Arcadia Farm Community Project
Where Feathers Gather Community Clay Workshops
Be part of a unique community art project for Arcadia Crop Circles 2026.
Join ceramic artist Danica Wichtermann from Rediscover Ceramics to create handcrafted clay feathers and small ceramic pieces that will contribute to Where Feathers Gather, a large-scale community installation celebrating Western Australia's black cockatoos, habitat, connection and hope.
During this relaxed 1.5-hour workshop, you'll learn simple handbuilding techniques while creating a clay feather that will become part of the final installation at Arcadia Crop Circles in Goomalling this September. Participants will also have the opportunity to create 1–2 additional small ceramic pieces to keep.
No prior clay experience is required. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
Workshop Dates
Sunday 16 August
10.00am – 11.30am
$20 per person
What's Included
Clay, materials, firing and glazing included
Create a community feather for the installation
Make 1–2 small personal ceramic pieces to keep

After the workshop, Danica will complete the finishing process, applying a copper wash or clear glaze where appropriate before firing all works.

Your personal ceramic pieces will be ready approximately 3–4 weeks after the workshop.
Collection options:
